Drinking 10 peso Pacifico and just had a hot shower.  Friends from Soel had the good idea to move into a cheap marina for tonight while the bad weather blows through.  I am pretty much shot.  I think I cried today for the first time in my adult life, but the story deserves more than I can give it right now.  I am safe and sound and so, so thankful for all of the support and emails I’ve received.  Thank you all so very much.  Friends on Soel caught a tuna on the way here and I am about to go help them finish it off.  Then, clean and well fed, I welcome the cruisers, “sleep of death”.

Tomorrow I’ll check into Mexico with the dog, get a cell phone that works, and start planning the next step.  In between soaking up the sun and crystal clear water that is Isla Mujeres.  Looks like an overland trip to Campeche may be in order to visit the first SOS Children’s Village site.  No words can describe how great it feels to have completed this, my first and longest singlehanded passage.  I am in Mexico.
