Oh Yeah.  Feeling so good I decided to break out the laptop!  This is huge considering the shape I was in the first two days.  No worries Mom, I was never so incapacitated that I couldn’t take care of myself, but I did spend a lot of time heaving my guts over the side.  I guess what they say is true, you really do get used to it.

The wind started really strong and I was basically in survival mode doing the minimum necessary to keep the boat moving and keeping enough nourishment down so wouldn’t completely fatigue.  Yesterday was my hump day.  I could eat and drink at will and started to really sail the boat trying to make some good time.  Winds are a little fluky today as a reinforcing front came through last night with lots of rain.  Holding close to 5 knots now in 10 – 15 knots of wind.

It’s beautiful now.  About to make a pot of coffee and take a little nap around noon.  Thanks everyone for the weather, especially Nick J.  Format is perfect.  Please keep me posted on the big front that is still on its way.

Cajun Readers:  Had last contact with SOEL at 2100 hours last night.  All are well and boat is great.
